Buh-bye blackheads.

So I was browsing Pinterest the other night (I know, when am I not?) and saw a natural blackhead removal remedy. I've always had the little boogers but no matter what face wash or peels I used, nothing really did the trick. Since I wasn't doing anything particularly productive when I found this, I decided to try it then- why put it off? (PS-I'm finding out that when you do things right then, when you want to or should, it makes things much easier and me much happier).

The whole thing takes about 15-20 minutes. I added lavender to my water-heaven. Like a mini-spa for your face. Not to mention while it was boiling, it made my kitchen smell amazing.  The baking soda paste was the hardest part; finding the right amount of water was tricky. Use trial and error to find the right consistency. It should be thick enough to stick to your face, but not so thick that it falls right off. And be prepared when you rub it in and take it off- it stings. But when you think about all those little grains getting the grit and grim out of your pores, it's so worth it. Your skin will be red for a bit and don't forget to splash with cold water; it really soothes. After all was said and done, I only had about half of the blackheads previously inhabiting my nose. Which is impressive. I plan on using this again, and again. Hope y'all like it!
