Boyfriends Birthday Cake!

Since we first started dating and my boyfriend took care of me for weeks before, during and after my unexpected surgery almost two summers ago (whoa.), I've been promising him an ice cream cake. I didn't want to buy one-not that there's anywhere to get one around here anyways-I wanted to make it myself. But I could never find a good recipe. Until, as always, Pinterest came to the rescue! Real Simple magazine had a, you guessed it, real simple recipe that looks perfect and delicious! I can't wait to make it today for the boyfriend birthday!
